Objectives

1. To promote the Sea Trout

2. To promote the venue - River Annan in 2004

3. To ensure the financial viability of the Festival

The National Sea Trout Challenge 2004

As in Previous Festivals, the centre piece is the ultimate "challenge" in game fishing. To fish a different beat of a sea trout river each night of the week. Catching a fish on each beat is a terrific challenge and there will be prizes for the challengers that catch the most, the heaviest etc., but any competitiveness is minimised. This is genuinely a "challenge."
